Dear TTR Members,  

On behalf of the Chief & Council, we wanted to take a moment to share important information regarding estate planning for Tootinaowaziibeeng Treaty Reserve members.

Our Council recognizes the immense sadness and stress that can accompany the loss of a spouse or close family member and is committed to supporting our members during these difficult times. We believe in the importance of estate planning (wills) and the process that follows, and we are here to guide you through it.

As part of this initiative, TTR held two Estate Planning Workshops, held on Monday, February 12th, and Friday, March 15th, 2024.  We wanted to thank the members who attended.

For those who were unable to attend the Estate Planning Workshops, we want to assure you that the TTR Estate Planning Booklet is readily available. A copy will be placed in all community mailboxes, and if you live off reserve, you can easily download it from our website.

Please also note that this booklet intends to provide guidance to TTR members unfamiliar with estate management processes and share information that allows community members to effectively plan for their estates and matters.
