The Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS) provides funding for employment programs and services that help Aboriginal people prepare for, obtain and maintain employment.

Starting in April 2019, the Indigenous Skills and Employment Training (ISET) Program replaced the Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training Strategy (ASETS). The new ISET Program will include four distinct labour market strategies: First Nations, Inuit, Métis and Urban/Non-affiliated.
