initiatives to understand the effects of residential schools on our community.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Considering the importance of this topic and the results of previous programs, TTR has applied for funding under the Residential Schools\u00a0Missing\u00a0Children\u00a0Community Support Funding to support a new research\/engagement initiative <em>TTR Seeking to Locate, Acknowledge and Remember Our Missing Children to:<\/em><\/p><ul><li>Accurately identify members who attended residential schools based on official data.<\/li><li>Reduce the gap of information and build awareness.<\/li><li>Create a Special Committee to Assist with the Coordination of this new initiative.<\/li><li>Create a regional network to foster collaboration, awareness, and empowerment with other First Nations in our area.<\/li><li>Support archival research for members seeking closure.<\/li><li>Conduct knowledge gatherings in the community.<\/li><li>Create and maintain a Survivors and Missing Children database.<\/li><li>Host community engagement sessions.<\/li><li>Develop protocols for cultural and traditional knowledge.<\/li><\/ul><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">TTR Members will be invited to participate in community gatherings and Safe Interviews to follow up on their archival research processes.<\/p><p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our Committee will be meeting in a regularly basis to
