TTR SCHOOL ATTENDANCE WORKSHOPS <\/strong>2025<\/strong><\/p>\n

 Attendance has been a long-standing challenge at TTR, making it difficult for students to keep up with learning.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Missing classroom instructional time creates gaps that written assignments alone cannot fill. Regular attendance is essential for success, as it ensures students fully engage in lessons, discussions, and hands-on activities that build essential skills.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

TTR members who live on reserve attend the Chief Clifford Lynxleg Anishinabe School (CCLAS), which offers a Nursery to Grade 7.\u00a0 Students of superior grades attend other schools located off of the reserve, mainly in Grandview.<\/p>

The TTR Educational Programs includes the management and administration of the CCLAS through its Principal\u00a0and \u00a0TTR Post-secondary coordinator.<\/span><\/p>

\u00a0<\/p>

The mission statement of CCLAS, states that their \u201cmission is to create a safe environment, which allows learning to take place at all grade levels.\u201d<\/p>

Also, the vision statement indicates, \u201cWe, the Chief Clifford Lynxleg Anishinabe School, seek to promote positive behaviour and build strong community\/school relationships. We encourage co-operation, communication, support, and involvement of our staff, students, parents, and community. We see a respectful, life-long learning student body, a strong cohesive staff, and a well-informed, supportive community\u201d.<\/p>

The TTREA organizational structure includes an Education Portfolio Holder as the representative of Chief & Council and the Director of Education, who reports directly to Chief & Council.\u00a0<\/p>

Education is an essential service that TTR provides, which presently is regulated under the<\/p>

the School and Education Policy Manual of 2019.<\/p>
